New Features

Custom Payment Types

You can now add your own payment options, such as a gift card or a local payment method, and choose which order types they are available for. Your customers will see them as choices when they check out. To keep things tidy, options are listed alphabetically and you can't add one that matches an existing payment type.

New Menu Header

Your online menu header has a refreshed store selector and a new Rec/Med switch. Additionally, clicking on the store in your header opens up a side drawer with all of your stores details including address, order types available, payment methods available, store hours and your store description. If your menu uses a custom header, you will need to add the new header components for them to appear.

Optimizations

• [Ecom] Offers: "Buy One, Get One" (BOGO) offers built in AIQ can now be set to a fixed price for the free item (for example, get the second item for $1), in addition to a percent or dollar amount off. Learn more

• [Marketing] Loops: We have made the retailer/state targeting step more apparent in the Loops builder and added a dedicated section on the review page to ensure your ads are targeting the right retailers/states.

• [Mobile App] Banner Scheduling: You can now schedule home screen banners so they only show on the days and times you choose, like a Thursday 12–3pm happy hour promo. You can also set start and end dates so a banner turns on and off by itself. Times use your account timezone. Find it under Settings > Mobile App > Styling > Edit Banners. This feature requires the app to be running version 5.4.312 or later.

• [Mobile App] Login Screen: You can now customize the text shoppers see on your app’s login screen. Set a custom Login Welcome Text heading and an optional Login Helper Text message under App Verbiage to match your brand’s voice from the very first screen. This feature requires the app to be running version 5.4.290 or later.

• [Mobile App] Disable Nav Bar on Shop Tab: You can now hide the navigation bar that appears under the Shop tab, giving the embedded shop experience a cleaner, full-screen feel without competing navigation. This feature requires the app to be running version 5.4.290 or later.

• [Staff Settings] Agency Accounts: Agency owners and admins can now access Staff Settings from the left navigation under Settings > Company Account. The view is scoped to what’s relevant for agencies — Priority Messaging and IP Address Allowlist are available and editable, while Employee Points Blocklist and Role Permissions (settings specific to advertiser accounts) remain hidden. Advertiser accounts see no change to their existing Staff Settings experience.

• [Astro AI] Prompt: You can now pin conversations in Astro Prompt. Click the three vertical dots and select pin or unpin.

Integrations

[Ecom] POSaBIT: On November 1, POSaBIT is retiring its older connection. We will continue to migrate users over to v3 if you have authorized us in your POSaBIT portal.

[Ecom] Treez: AIQ has made several improvements to our Treez integration.

• All accounts have been successfully migrated to Treez v3 endpoints

• We have updated our Sync Total behavior. When a user is logged in, we will pull their Treez customer ID in real time to ensure the pricing reflects any discounts applied specifically to that customer. We will also surface all discounts that come from Treez in the UI so the customer sees a breakdown of all of the discounts attached to their order. If a customer is using guest checkout, we will perform the live customer ID lookup at checkout once they input all of their PII.

• We will now update order statuses in bulk to make our syncing more efficient and reliable.

[Loyalty] NXT Wash: AIQ now streamlines discount redemption between AIQ and NXT Wash. When creating a discount, simply choose your NXT Wash coupon package you want to use, target the appropriate audience and let us handle the rest. When a customer selects the discount in their loyalty wallet, we will generate a coupon code in real time, redeem their discount and convert the coupon code to a barcode which can be scanned on NXT Wash's kiosks. Bugs

• [Ecom] Aeropay: Fixed an issue where shoppers paying with Aeropay who had no bank account linked were stuck being asked to connect their bank over and over at checkout.

• [Ecom] Staff Accounts: Fixed an issue where a staff member who was removed and then added back with the same email never received the welcome email to set their password.

• [Ecom] Menus: Fixed an issue where the live chat on your menu could restart in the middle of a conversation, and where changes made in your admin might not show up on the menu without a manual refresh.

• [Ecom] Banners: Fixed an issue where larger then recommended sized banners were being squished.

• [Marketing] Discounts: Fixed an issue where ordering wasn't being honored while viewing discounts in a filtered view.

• [Marketing] Dynamic Content: Fixed an issue where dynamic content links for Jane Boost menus were not being pulled into AIQ properly.

• [Mobile Apps] Header: Fixed an issue where the store name text color fails to update in the app styling settings. This feature requires the app to be running version 5.4.304 or later.

• [Mobile Apps] Product Feed: Fixed an issue that was truncating product titles after seven characters. This feature requires the app to be running version 5.4.290 or later.

• [Mobile Apps] Banner Links: Fixed an issue where redirect links from the banners required location services on and for the customer to be in a compliant state. This feature requires the app to be running version 5.4.325 or later.
