An Important Update on Dutchie Loyalty Integration
What's Happening?
We want to make our clients aware that Dutchie has recently launched a competing loyalty solution. As a result, some shared AIQ and Dutchie customers are experiencing disruptions with loyalty data synchronization.
We understand that some clients have been told these synchronization issues originate with AIQ and have subsequently been encouraged to consider Dutchie's alternative loyalty solutions. While we cannot speak to the intent behind the messaging being shared by partner vendors, we believe customers are best positioned for long-term success when they partner with companies that make product decisions based on capabilities, performance, and business value - not by creating disruptions and using those disruptions to drive competitive sales cycles.
It is important to note that AIQ currently maintains integrations with more than 80 technology partners across the cannabis ecosystem, and we are not aware of similar synchronization issues occurring elsewhere. This reinforces our belief that open, collaborative partnerships remain the best path to delivering a reliable experience for retailers.
To minimize any impact to your business, we recommend using the AIQ loyalty sign-up flow. Sales from newly enrolled shoppers will continue to sync regularly. This means that a customer who enrolls and shops multiple times on the same day may not have all transactions reflected in AIQ immediately. Their profile and loyalty status will be available, and any delayed sales activity will be synchronized during regular updates. If you have questions about how these integration updates may affect your operation, please contact our support team.
We recognize that some retailers may be receiving conflicting information regarding the source of these issues. We encourage customers to evaluate claims carefully and hold all technology partners to a high standard of transparency and accountability. We believe the strongest partnerships are built through transparency, collaboration, and a shared commitment to customer success. Retailers should never be placed in the middle of competitive dynamics between technology providers, nor should operational disruptions become a mechanism for influencing purchasing decisions.
What To Do?
When registering new customers in Dutchie POS, we recommend these five simple steps to keep your AIQ loyalty enrollment and data sync running smoothly.
Open the designated Signup Form:
In your browser, open the Signup Form your store uses for in-store registration. (To find it in AIQ: go to Customers > Signup Forms, click Share on the correct form, and open the link.) Bookmark this link for quick access during future checkouts.Set up your screen layout:
Position the AIQ Signup Form on one side of your screen and the Dutchie Register on the other. This is recommended so you are able to move freely between the two platforms easily.Register the new customer:
When checking out a new customer, fill out their information in the AIQ Signup Form first. Once submitted, you'll be able to locate them in Dutchie and attach them to the sale.Attach the customer to the transaction:
In Dutchie Register, click the Plus icon next to Guest, then search for the customer you just registered by Phone, Email or Name and click Attach to Cart.Complete the transaction:
With the customer added to the cart, finish checking them out as normal. Their loyalty profile will appear in the AIQ environment immediately, and their purchase will sync on AIQ's standard import schedule.
