Banners Updates

We've made banners easier to manage across multiple store locations. See our updated help docs on how to create/manage banners.

Multi-location Management

• Banners are now managed at the organization level, allowing operators with multiple stores to quickly create, edit and apply banners across their organization.

External Banner Link

• You can now set banners to link to external URLs (e.g., https://google.com)

Improved Accessibility

• The banner description will now be used as the image's alt text to improve accessibility and SEO.

Roll Out

Migrating from Store Level to Org Level

• When we deploy this migration, all individual banners will appear in the banners list with a single location selected

Permissions Update

• Any staff member with the Write Store permission will now also have Manage Banners permission by default

• Want more control? You can customize any of your existing roles to exclude/include the new org level permission

Bug Fixes

• Discount Display Fix: Fixed an issue where discounts in AIQ without a defined “What are you discounting?” field were not displayed in AIQ Ecommerce. We now default to showing the required Short Description field.
