AIQ Product Updates for January 13, 2026
New Features
Loops now route customers directly to the brand’s URL
When a Loop is sent by a brand, customers will automatically be directed to that brand’s specific menu URL - on both AIQ Ecom Menus and other menus.
Notes:
If your Brand account has multiple sub-brands, you will be able to choose which sub-brand to target in the campaign builder
If a brand URL isn’t available, we’ll fall back to the campaign’s destination URL to ensure a seamless experience
No change to retailer-created Loops, we will use the destination URL only.

Contact Card (vCard) for text campaigns

AIQ now supports Contact Cards (vCards) to help keep your text campaigns out of Apple’s Unknown Senders filter. When customers save your verified contact info, your messages are more likely to stay in their main inbox and be recognized as trusted.
Configure your brand’s contact identity (name, logo, etc.) in Settings → Texting → Contact Card
Automatic Sends: AIQ now sends your vCard automatically to all new opt-ins or re-opt-ins (once every 90 days)
Campaign Sends: Optionally attach your Contact Card to text campaigns
Ecommerce Menu Note Customization
You can now customize the background color and text color of your menu note.
If no customization is applied, the menu note will default to the standard info-box blue.
Additionally, menu notes are now automatically collapsed to display only the first few lines, improving readability on mobile devices. Customers can easily expand or collapse the note using the "Show More" and "Show Less" controls.
Ecommerce Brand Management & SEO Control
AIQ Ecommerce now lets you manage your own brand database, including writing custom brand descriptions that appear on your menus to help improve SEO.
Using the new Brand Portal (located in Menus → Brands), you can upload brand images, descriptions, and aliases. Brand settings can be applied per location or across all locations, giving you flexible control over how brands are displayed.
Any brand data configured here will override data from AIQ’s global brand database.
How Brand Aliases Work
When you assign aliases to a brand, all matching aliases are normalized to the parent brand. For example, if your parent brand is “PuffCo” and you add “Puff Co” and "Puff-Co" as aliases, any products with those aliases as the brand name will appear under the parent PuffCo brand page.
Optimizations
[Marketing] We've added more 10DLC templates that contain both {{firstName}} and {{BrandNickname}} macros in the same template.
[Ecom] We have made several improvements as well as bug fixes for the JSON-LD schema on our menus.
[Ecom] We have added ability to disable effects on your menu (located in Settings > Store > Products). This will remove effects from product pages, terpene strength bars as well as on the product review form.
[Ecom] New optional field for Government ID and Expiration at checkout. This will save to their account and will also appear in the order drawer.
[Ecom] New UI for login and password reset pages.
[Ecom] Vermont's purchase limits have been updated to reflect the correct limits for both medical and recreational orders. We have also completed the equivalents for Vermont as well, so if "Flower Equivalent in Grams" is unchecked in your POS Settings, we will do the conversion automatically in AIQ.
[API - Ecom] We have added new endpoints to our Ecom Blueprint API to pull in all available delivery zones as well as to validate an address to a specific delivery zone within your organization.
[Marketing] Ability to sort the Media Library table columns.
[Personas] A fix has been implemented for broken uploads with xlsx files.

[Ecom] Some customers on the CRM pages would not load due to a telephone error. We have resolved this error and you should now see all customers load.
[Ecom] Our product API will now correctly return the total number of products in the
pageCountfield.[Ecom] The H1 on Cannabis Type and Terpene pages will now be normalized so your customers see a natural name.
[Co-marketing] Some Brands were seeing incorrect co-marketing reporting, we have resolved this issue.
[Loyalty] The Loyalty receipt cost breakdown showed that points are accruing on the pre-discount subtotal rather than the correct post-discount, pre-tax amount. This was just a display issue, not a logic issue and has been resolved.
[Mobile App] We have fixed an issue where the custom store sorting was not reflected in the mobile app.
[Marketing] In Marketing > Campaigns, we were missing "Voice" in the channel filter, this has been added.
